The Real Story of MatDads
Every cheer story has the athletes, the coaches, and those dedicated cheer moms who get plenty of well-deserved attention. But there's another character in this story – that guy in the back of the venue, calculator app open, mentally converting "competition fees" into "hours of overtime needed."
That's the MatDad. The unsung hero of competitive cheerleading.
MatDads was born because we noticed something: while the athletes are celebrated (as they should be) and cheer moms have their own community, the dads holding down the mat – financially, emotionally, and sometimes literally – didn't have gear that spoke to their unique experience.
